On BuzzyGroups.com this includes a username name, first name, last name, date of birth, zip code, country, about me, referral name, an email address, password, profile image, phone number, etc.
Your username, about me, and profile image are always public, but you can use either use your real name or a pseudonym. You can also create and manage multiple BuzzyGroups accounts but encourage only one account per person.
Most activity on BuzzStream.com is private. Most activity on the site is password protected for users and is also protected at a group-level as well. Some activity on BuzzyGroups is public, including some information from Brand pages, username information, which includes, but is not limited the information stored publicly in your profile page, time zone, and language information. On Brand pages, this may include the date, time, and version of BuzzyGroups, profile image, and any comment left on a Brand page, that may become public at the discretion of the Brand Leader or moderator. Even though we have put certain safety measures in place, we always recommend that you use caution when posting information that could potentially disclose information that you may not want the public to know. At the moment, there is no way to prevent people from taking pictures, screenshots, printing, or saving the information that displays on users' screens. Thus, although doing so is a violation of our terms, we cannot guarantee that people will not break the rules. This is why we always recommend that users are aware that content that is intended to remain private may become public due to the action of bad actors.
If you engage with an ad on our services, that advertiser might thereby learn information about you associated with the ad with which you engaged such as characteristics of the audience the ad was intended to reach.
Information posted about you by other people who use our services may also be public. For instance, other people may post a photo of you or with you in it or may mention you or your likeness in a Post.
All users are responsible for their Posts and other information provided through our services. If you update your public information on BuzzyGroups, such as by deleting a Post or closing your account, we will reflect your updated content on BuzzyGroups.com, and potentially all BuzzyGroups platforms.
By posting any type of content when you Post on BuzzyGroups, you give us your permission to disclose that information as broadly as possible, including through our APIs, and directing those accessing the information through our APIs to do the same. To enable quick global dissemination of Posts, we use technology like application programming interfaces (APIs) and embeds to make that information available to websites, apps, and others for their use. We reserve the right to make this content available in limited quantities for a fee and/or charge licensing fees for access.
BuzzyGroups has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its Internet web site and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by BuzzyGroups of the site. Use of any such linked web site is at the user’s own risk, which is why we always urge users to be cautious when clicking on links they do not recognize as safe.
We may use your contact information, such as your phone number or email address, to authenticate your account and keep our services secure. We may also use your contact information to help in preventing spam, fraud, and abuse. We also use contact information to enable certain account features, and to send you information about our services, and to personalize our services, including ads. We may also associate your account with browsers or devices other than those you use to log into BuzzyGroups (or associate your logged-out device or browser with other browsers or devices). When you provide other information to BuzzyGroups, including an email address, we associate that information with your BuzzyGroups account. We may also use this information in order to infer other information about your identity. We do this to operate and personalize our services. For example, if you visit websites with vacation content on your phone, we may show you related ads on BuzzyGroups, if the email address associated with your account shares components with another email address, such as shared first name, last name, or initials, we may later match advertisements to you from advertisers that were trying to reach email addresses containing those components.
Any claim relating to BuzzStreams’s services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We share or disclose non-personal data, such as aggregated information like the total number of times people engaged with a Post, group, brand, web page, demographics, the number of people who clicked on a particular link or voted on a poll (even if only one did), the topics that people are Posting about in a particular location, some inferred interests, or reports to advertisers about how many people saw or clicked on their ads.
If you have registered an account on BuzzyGroups, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal data you provided to us and associated with your account.
If you deactivate your BuzzyGroups account, your account will no longer be available on any BuzzyGroups platforms. Deactivation is permanent and will result in permanent data loss.
Keep in mind that search engines and other third parties may still retain copies of your public information, even after you have deleted the information from our services or deactivated your account. This is not something that BuzzyGroups can control or alter.
When you are logged into your BuzzyGroups account, you can manage your privacy settings and other account features by going to update profile at any time. It may take a short amount of time for privacy settings to be fully reflected throughout our systems. Please note that this change does not always happen immediately.
